'Thank you, thank you very much for this deep, wonderful gathering. I felt home, I felt part of a family, I felt blessed. I met wonderful people, full of smile, joy and love. The organization and the volunteers were friendly, helpful, kind and even loving. The workshops very interesting and deep. I also enjoyed the way you started and ended this gorgeous day. The most powerful thing I've ever dove was exactly at the opening ceremony, chanting "Aum Namah Shivaya" with tens and tens of brothers and sisters. Really amazing, exciting, shaping, dreamlike and visionary. I also find the ending debate very useful and interesting. The overall experience has opened within me a new voice, a new vision, new eyes. I really hope this will be the beginning for many other gatherings and for a new course in the LGBT community and beyond.' - Simon | 'I just wanted to say what a fantastic event you hosted on Saturday. As I reflect on it today I realise how it has lead me to confront some of the things hidden away for a good while and I feel I am now starting to learn more about my own/our identity and have a greater sense of belonging to a new loving community. This is something new for me , something I have not known before and I feel really heartened and energised. It feels like the beginning of something significant for me and I think for us all. I will carry this feeling with me and would love to be more involved in future events. I practise/teach Kundalini Yoga, so maybe I can offer a session at next years gathering? I live in Brighton so will not be able to participate as much as I'd like in London based events but this is something that Brighton City needs too - how about reaching out here? I think the community we are creating is the way forward. Thank you for your pioneering approach and to everyone involved in making yesterday an inspirational day.' Paul |
'LGBT Community really needs a space to gather together and share. Thank you. I have also left feeling that I could have contributes with something as beautiful and definitely as useful as the workshops I have attended.I therefore would like to inform you that, if you will continue with the Festival next year, I would love to share a Buddhist philosophy that I have been practicing for 20 years now, which has profoundly impacted on my development as a human being.
My details are above and I would like to conclude by wishing a great day in the park. Unfortunately I have others commitments, which will prevent me from attending your gathering.'

Massimo | 'A BIG thank you to all those people involved in organising and volunteering for LoveSpirit. What a day!
It was such a beautiful gathering of people and a such warm feeling of connectedness flowed throughout the day. So glad I made the journey from Birmingham.
Many highlights: - Starting with the wonderful chanting led by Nikki Slade – brilliant, and an empowering start to the day.
- Christian de la Huerta’s passionate, inspiring and informative talk on the role of LGBT folk in developing the planet’s spiritual evolution and the group discussion and sharing which followed. His emphasis on who in our lives presents a ‘mirror’ to us, challenging us to own what we seek to deny in ourselves & the false belief that the answer was ‘out there’ was particularly profound.
- 5 Rhythms Movement Dance with Bodhi Hunt. Many years since I did this and what a complete joy! Such a delicious flow of bodies, movement and music superbly facilitated. I thought the panel discussion at the end was a positive way to give everyone a chance to share their experiences of the day [and] hear where they felt we had come from and where we might progress to.'
