WORKSHOPS

Quaker Way  -  with Roy Vickery

Quakers, or more formally the Religious Society of Friends, started as a Christian group during the 17th century. Today they remain Christian-based, but include a wide range of people with diverse religious beliefs, including some who identify...

...themselves as nontheists. They have neither ministers nor creed, and treat all people as equal, regardless of gender or sexuality.

This workshop start with a short introduction to the Quaker way, followed by 30 minutes during which we will experience Quaker worship, and then a discussion.

Roy Vickery
Roy has been attending Quaker meetings for many years; he is a member of Westminster Meeting and convenor of the Quaker Lesbian & Gay Fellowship’s London group.
