I believe that those who have come into this life as gay or different in any pronounced way have hit the ground running. Not being accepted by the mainstream, forces one to look beyond their peers for guidance. For some, this could lead to substance usage and for others this can be spirituality.
Having to turn to a belief system which supports the best of who you are, can lead you to search for deeper meaning in life. As part of my quest for self acceptance, the path of spirituality has been highly fulfilling and I have met the most amazing people and best friends I could ever have.
I am so appreciative of the love I have in my life and am so pleased to be able to share this within this community, as there are many who are still learning to love themselves due to various negative external influences. I strongly believe you can be, do or have anything in this life and the tools I’ve learnt and can share to help people achieve this, I feel; are invaluable.
